DMA Late Night - Gaultier Style




Last Friday evening the Dallas Museum of Art hosted their monthly Friday Late Night (3rd Friday of the Month, open til midnight). It was so incredibly exciting to see thousands (literally thousands) of people of ALL ages walking up and down the corridors, enjoying the music, food, exhibits and all the fun and interesting activities the DMA has put together. I was so impressed! With the Gaultier exhibit closing in a few weeks there were tons of women dressed up in the most fabulous avante-garde outfits...so fun to see so many people expressing themselves this way. Above is a picture I captured of a girl who had Diet Coke cans as rollers. Too fun!

Local Dallasite, Laura Wilson, has a fantastic photographic exhibit in the lobby titled "Our Architecture" on display through January 12th with twelve original images from DFW cultural and performing arts venue landmarks. So next time you're by for dinner at any of our five delicious restaurants, swing by the lobby and view this small, lovely exhibit.

Aurora Light Show Tonight




Join us for a spectacular evening in the Arts District as lights will transform the buildings along Flora Street. This is the first year to present this magical event. Artists from around the country will create site-specific installations of light, sound, performance and projection art.
