The menu consists of caviar aperitif with Mumm Napa Brut Prestige, Tom Spicer Micro Green Salad with Smoked Monkfish and Schramsberg Blanc de Noris, Sashimi with Citrus Sauce and Domaine Carneros Brut, Whitefish with Sea Urchin Butter Sauce (yum) paired with Perrier Jouet Grand Brut, Lobster Chawa Mushi with Summer Truffle (yum again) and Nicolas Feulillate Blanc de Blancs, Epernay. Summer Block Party - Tonight

"THE TABLE" opens tonight





Riding on the coattails of the successfull opening of The Commissary, Chef Tesar is officially opening THE TABLE tonight! It's a separate but attached 12-seat chef's tasting restaurant, similar to what he had at The Mansion on Turtle Creek. This private and cozy dining room has one large, beautiful thick wooden table that seats 12 with views of the Arts District and downtown Dallas. It's communal too which makes it even more fun because you can meet new, interesting people who are sharing a fantastic meal. Sounds pretty good to me. Multi-course menus start at $55. The Commissary Opens




Drum roll please.... yes, the newest addition to One Arts Plaza's dining destination is now open. The Commissary is officially opening its doors for dinner tomorrow evening with lunch following next week. These chef-inspired burgers (made with organic, grass-fed beef) are priced at $5 - $8+. There's another unique twist to it as well: the bar is offering wine on tap! It's the only restaurant in the area offering this new trendy experience. TONIGHT - Hunter Sullivan's Big Band Tsunami Relief Concert



Tonight, our much beloved Dallas jazz musician, Hunter Sullivan and his magnificent 14-piece orchestra will perform a FREE concert on the plaza to raise funds for the recent vicitims of Japan. The concert will start at 6:30 pm and run until 9:30 pm. The plaza will be closed off for pedestrian-only use and valet will be rerouted. Donations to the Tsunami Relief Fund will be accepted throughout the evening and can also be made online on the Dallas Japanese Association's website. It's free, it's open to the public and it's for a great cause. Help us spread the word and come on out to enjoy the patios, fountains, restaurants and forecasted nice weather (finger's crossed/April 7th is alternate rain date).
